CTR Manufacturing Group’s origins date back to 1973 where it was originally formed as CTR Carbide Dies (Birmingham) Ltd. as a small precision engineering manufacturing company with just a handful of employees. With the acquisition of Rectory Tooling Ltd in 1988, the CTR Manufacturing Group now employs some forty skilled engineers who have operated from larger modern premises since 1988.

The Group has steadily grown and enhanced its reputation to become a global player in the supply of standard and specialised fastener tooling and dies, exporting to well over forty countries world-wide.

Like many other fellow members, we have joined Made in the Midlands to share best practice, win new business, collaborate, raise our profile and source Midlands based suppliers.

We join an industry network of ‘movers and makers’ that is proactively bringing together our regions engineering and manufacturing firms from all sectors, that challenges the status quo and is leading the way in creating a lasting legacy and ensuring the long term prosperity of industry in this region.

CTR Carbide Dies Ltd is proud to now be part of the growing #MIMFAMILY, our relish our opportunity to benefit from the buzz surrounding this network whilst also contributing to benefit others within the network.
